Temporary Kingaroy Aerodrome Closures

Council wishes to advise that the Kingaroy Aerodrome will be closed from 5 December 2022 to 9 December 2022 for Stage 1 of the installation of the runway lighting upgrade.
To accommodate the Royal Flying Doctor Service night landings, the aerodrome will reopen at 6pm and close at 6am the following morning.
Therefore, the change in hours will be:

Please note that this closure will also restrict access to the terminal building fuel bowsers, wash bay and associated concrete aprons.
Council will continue to update the progress of the project by display of information at the terminal building, social media, and media releases.
