South Burnett Regional Council has again this year supported the Red Bench Walk in support of “Change the Ending” Let’s Stop Domestic Violence
Various Council offices throughout the region showed their commitment by participating in mapped out walks.
Our fellow Murgon staff “braved the storm”, now that’s commitment!; whilst our Nanango Office dressed to impress and Kingaroy was fortunate enough to have our very own passionate CEO Mark Pitt confirm his support to raise awareness that “It is never ok” and thanked all for their participation on the day.
Earlier in the day Council’s internal DFV and Mental Health Committee was fortunate enough to have Jo Mason from Work Haven give a presentation providing an insight into how we can support our fellow work colleagues.
