Notice of Works - Changed Traffic Condition and Temporary Road Closures - Kingaroy Christmas Carnival 2022
South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise of the Kingaroy Christmas Carnival being held between 4pm and 9pm on Thursday 8 December.
To ensure safe delivery of the event road closures between 6am Thursday 8 December 2022 to 6am Friday 9 December 2022 will be in place.

These road closures are in accordance with provision under the Local Government Act 2009, Part 3, Roads and other infrastructure: Division 1: Roads, Section 69: Closing roads:
(2) The Local Government may close a road to all traffic or particular class -
(c) if it is necessary or desirable to close the road for a temporary purpose
Council apologises for any inconvenience that these closures may cause and thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this period to ensure the event is a successful one for our Region.
