Santa Claus Lane winner announced

The 2022 winner was a difficult decision to make, given the quality of the entries, and was made in light of the increased street participation and the interactivity of the display. For 2022 the winner is Rosella Parade, Kingaroy.

“It was particularly hard to choose a winner, between the entries that collaborated extensively with their neighbours. The entry in Proston was a very close second and, in the end, it was the participation of the locals that was the final determiner,” Mrs Pitt said. “We also recognise that Amaroo Drive, has also seen increased participation from neighbours.”

The Santa Claus Lane initiative is in its fourth year and has seen winners from Wondai, Proston and Kingaroy. “We aim to increase the collaboration between neighbours and to give the children of the South Burnett an opportunity to enjoy the wonders of the season of Christmas,” Mr Pitt added.

Entries opened in November and the CEO and his wife, personally sponsor the Santa Clause Lane award to increase social cohesion in the region, along with its sister initiative Santa’s Workshop sponsored by Ken Mills Toyota.
