Notice of Works - Walter Road, Kingaroy - Water Main Works

The Department of Transport and Main Road’s (TMR), High-Risk Roads Safety Program is continuing construction along Walter Road, Kingaroy in 2023.

South Burnett Regional Council has been engaged to assist in the delivery of the water main package between Knight Street and Harris Road on behalf of TMR.

South Burnett Regional Council has engaged a local contractor to deliver the works occurring between January and March 2023.

Following the completion of the water works, TMR will schedule in road widening activities and the construction of the new roundabout at the intersection with Knight Street.

Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with care, drive to the prevailing road conditions and adhere to signage.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the Community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
