QEII Park Murgon Refurbishment Begins
The refurbishment of QEII Park Murgon is set to begin the week of 23 January.
The first week will see the erection of safety fencing and disconnection of power to the park. Over the coming weeks, works will include the removal of the concrete slabs and paths, lighting and table settings.
When completed the park will have new solar lighting, shelters and seating, along with pathways with gardens and trees throughout.
This refurbishment will give longevity to the park and provide Murgon with a great community park for residents and visitors to enjoy.
It is expected that works will be completed by the end of April, weather permitting.
Council apologises for any inconvenience these upgrades may cause and thanks the community for the understanding.
