Please be aware that the email account of Denise King, of South Burnett Regional Council, has been compromised.
You may have received an email from Denise regarding an invoice/purchase remittance from SBCTC. This email may pose a threat to your computer network.
Please immediately delete the email and do not open any attachment or enter any personal details into the link. Our team has been working since the issue became known this morning, to isolate and remove the email threat.
South Burnett Regional Council apologises for any inconvenience. Council has taken immediate action to rectify and is committed to maintaining the cybersecurity of its employees and email recipients. Investigations into the email breach is ongoing.
