January Grant Applications - Local Built Small Grants Program
As part of the South Burnett Regional Council’s delivery of the Black Summer Bushfire Recovery Grants Program, the Local Built Small Grants – Social Recovery Investment Stream has been developed
to support community groups to create and deliver projects that build resilience and economic recovery in the South Burnett region.
A total pool of $100,000 was available across two rounds with grants up to $3,000 and $5,000 possible depending on the category. Applications opened Monday 16 January 2023 and close Monday 27 February 2023. There are three categories: small events, community building and facilities planning.
Key objectives of the funding are to support projects that promote the wellbeing, resilience, adaptation to climate change, and build skills in and knowledge of the environment. Organisations must be based within the South Burnett or show substantial benefit to the residents of the South Burnett.
