Request for Tender – SBRC 22/23-11 Lease of farmland at Kingaroy Aerodrome
Council is offering farming land located at the Kingaroy Aerodrome, Warren Truss Drive, Taabinga for lease for the purpose of broadacre cropping (certain cropping restrictions will apply).
Council is seeking interest from local farmers and community groups that are seeking the opportunity to increase their production.
The successful tenderer and any agents, contractors and employees will be required to undertake an Aerodrome induction and adhere to all relevant requirements under South Burnett Regional Council’s aerodrome manual and Part 139 of Manual of Standard – Aerodromes.
Council’s Manager Community and Lifestyle will be available throughout the duration of the lease to support compliance with air-side aerodrome compliance.
It is expected that the successful tendering entity will provide evidence of the necessary skills and experience of a successful commercial farming enterprise.
