QE II Park Murgon Refurbishment Update
The refurbishment works at QE II Park Murgon is well under way.
Local contractors have been onsite since the end of January, removing the old concrete slabs, table settings and paths, which will make way for the surveyors to mark out the positions of the new shelters and paths.
The new concrete slabs have been laid this week and construction of the shelter structures will begin in early March.
This refurbishment project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government’s Works for Queensland Round 4 program in association with South Burnett Regional Council. Works is on schedule as per Council’s work plan for the project.
Residents and visitors can view plans and designs of the park at the Murgon Visitor Information Centre.
