Notice of Works - Corndale Road Widening
South Burnett Regional Council advises that the Corndale Road Widening project is planned to commence during the week of Monday 6 March 2023.
This project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government through the Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme and the South Burnett Regional Council capital works programme.
The project is located approximately 6 km east of Memerambi and will involve widening of a section of the existing narrow sealed pavement to a 7 metre sealed road width.
The work will include vegetation removal, earthworks, pavement and sealing works.
Site works and construction activity will be performed Monday to Friday – 6:30am – 4:00pm, with the project expecting to be completed by June 2023.
Traffic control measures will be in place during delivery of the project. Traffic management measures will include temporary traffic light controls to halt traffic on sections where works are occurring during the day. These will remain in place overnight where available trafficable road widths are restricted.
Motorists can expect delays of approximately 10 minutes when passing these works.
