Notification of Works - Tipperary Flats Camp and Day Use Area, King Street (D’Aguilar Highway), Nanango
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise that works are scheduled to commence on Monday, 27 March 2023 to improve the drainage issue within Tipperary Flats Camp and Day Use Area.
These works are funded through the South Burnett Regional Council 2022-23 Capital Programme with major civil works expected to be completed late April 2023, subject to weather and other external constraints.
In order to provide a safe working environment for Council staff and users, these works will be controlled by signage and other traffic management measures. This includes the closure and restricted access to the Tipperary Flats Camp and Day Use Area for the duration of the project. The closure may also extend to areas whilst grass re-establishment occurs.
Access to the day use park, toilet facilities and Peanut Wagon from King Street (D’Aguilar Highway) will be unaffected. There will be limited availability for camping within this area.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
