Finishing touches to QEII Park Refurbishment

Council advises the refurbishment of QE II Park, Murgon is now in its final stages. With the park closed off to the public, this has allowed Council’s Parks team to lay and establish turf.
This week will see the installation of the solar streetlights and the planting of six new trees which will provide more lighting in the evenings and shade during the warmer months.

Council is anticipating the safety fencing to come down on Friday 21 April, opening the park in time for ANZAC Day events.
