Registrations now open for the Festival of the Dams 2023!
Fishing fanatics get ready! The Festival of the Dams is on again in 2023.
Round 1 is being held at Bjelke-Petersen Dam from Saturday 20 May to Sunday 21 May, organised by Fishing Freshwater and proudly sponsored by the South Burnett Regional Council.
Interested anglers should get their teams registered as places are filling up quickly in the 40-team event, with entries closing Saturday 20 May 2023. A fun weekend family event open to the public with raffles, lucky door prizes and much more.

Fishing from Saturday 20th May 2023 6AM in 3 sessions through until 11AM Sunday 21st May, 2023
Tournament has 5 categories:
1) Total NUMBER of legal fish- most fish wins- 1st place
2) Biggest Bass- 1st place
3) Biggest Golden Perch- 1st place
4) Biggest 6 fish, total combined length of your biggest six Golden Perch or Australian Bass- 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place
5) Random draw from Teams entered that have not won any of the other prize categories
Entries (available online at www.fishingfreshwater.com.au) close 20 May at 7am unless filled prior. Winners will be announced Sunday during presentation after the event.
