Construction to commence at the Coolabunia Saleyards Complex
Council would like to advise that construction of new steel cattle yards will commence at the Coolabunia Saleyards Complex on Monday 1 May 2023.
Expected to be completed weather dependent by 23 May 2023.
Stage 1 will start at the double decker loading ramp area therefore this ramp and surrounding holding yards will be unserviceable until 15 May.
During this construction period the single loading ramp will be available for double decker transporters that have a winch during this period.
Council would like to remind users of the Coolabunia Saleyard Complex that this designated work site can only be accessed by authorised contractors. All other areas of the Coolabunia yards are accessible and services will continue as per normal during this construction period.
