Notification of Scheduled Maintenance and Works - Wooroolin Public Amenities
South Burnett Regional Council would like to advise that planned maintenance and upgrade works are scheduled to occur at the Wooroolin public amenities at Dalton Park Wooroolin.
During the period of Monday 5 June 2023 to Friday 16 June 2023.
The existing septic system is at its end of use life and with increasing visitor numbers, a larger capacity treatment plant is more suitable. This plant is the first large capacity treatment plant for public amenities within the region.
It is envisaged that the entire amenities block will be closed for two days on Tuesday 13 June and Wednesday 14 June, to allow for local contractors to decommission and remove obsolete infrastructure and install the new system.
During these works there will be a portable toilet on site for use. Public showers are available at Circular Place Kingaroy (opposite Town Hall) and Wondai 24-hour camp on Haly Street Wondai.
This project is funded through Council’s Capital Works program.
