Reconfiguration of Pedestrian Crossings - William Street, Toomey Street and Avoca Street Kingaroy
Council advises that works on William, Toomey and Avoca Streets Kingaroy, adjacent to Kingaroy State High School are due to commence the week beginning Monday 7 August 2023, weather permitting.
Works being undertaken include reconfiguration of the pedestrian crossings at the intersection of William Street and Toomey Street and minor kerb and channel extension works in Avoca Street (West of William Street).
These works have been funded under Queensland State Government’s School Transport Infrastructure Program and the South Burnett Regional Council capital works program.
In order to provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
