Community Engagement – ‘Steaming Back to Wondai’ Time Capsule Location

South Burnett Regional Council would like to invite the community to come along to Coronation Park, Wondai on Tuesday 22 August between 12pm to 1:30pm,
to meet with Councillors and Council representatives to discuss the location for a time capsule that will be part of the upcoming ‘Steaming Back to Wondai’ celebrations.
‘Steaming Back to Wondai’ is a celebration to mark the 120th anniversary arrival of the first passenger train to Wondai. There will be a community event taking place in Coronation Park on Thursday 14 September.
The community is encouraged to come along to this community engagement to assist in the location for a time capsule that will be opened in 30 years for the 150th anniversary.
