Dutton Street East, Murgon - Footpath Renewal
South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise that works on Dutton Street East, Murgon, are due to commence the week beginning Monday 28 August 2023 6:30am-2:30pm, weather and machinery permitting.
Works being undertaken includes replacement of the existing bitumen sealed footpath with a concrete footpath, on the Southern side of Dutton Street East, between the swimming pool entry and the Krebs Street intersection.
These works have been funded under Queensland State Government’s School Transport Infrastructure Program and the South Burnett Regional Council capital works program.
To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage. Parking restrictions will be in place and the footpath will be closed to pedestrians on the Southern side of Dutton Street East whilst the works are in progress. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
