Upgrades to Les Muller Park Blackbutt
South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise the community that upgrades to the picnic shelter at Les Muller Park, Blackbutt will start in early September.
Works will include the removal of the shelter next to the old Visitor Information Centre and a new larger sized shelter to be constructed in the same location. A new picnic table setting will also be installed that will be wheelchair accessible, along with a new wheelchair accessible BBQ.
During this time the area around the shelter will be fenced off to the public.
Upgrades are being funded under the State Government’s Works for Queensland round 4 program and is scheduled for completion by the early October 2023, with weather permitting.
