Nanango Visitor Information Centre Open

The South Burnett Energy Centre & Nanango Visitor Information Centre advises the public that the courtyard area at the centre is closed to the public due to damage after storms last Friday evening.
The remainder of the centre is open to the public where visitors can enjoy learning about the history of the power station and the Nanango township. There is a few interactive displays and locally sourced merchandise available as well for locals and visitors during the upcoming school holidays.
Repair works to the damaged sections will begin shortly. Council would like to thank the public for their patience during this time.
