School Crossing Upgrade - Angel Avenue Murgon
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise that works on Angel Avenue in Murgon, are due to commence Monday 18 September 2023, weather and machinery permitting.
Works being undertaken includes installation of kerbside medians, signage and line marking in Angel Avenue between Gore Street and Armstrong Street for students attending St. Joseph’s Primary School and Murgon State School
These works have been funded under Queensland State Governments School Transport Infrastructure Program and the South Burnett Regional Council capital works program.
To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
