Kent Street Kingaroy – St Mary’s Catholic College Footpath Extension
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise that works on Kent Street Kingaroy, are due to commence the week beginning Monday 25 September 2023, weather permitting.
Works being undertaken include the installation of a concrete footpath, signage, and line marking on the eastern side of Kent Street, between Fitzroy Street and Albert Street for students attending St. Mary’s Catholic College.
These works have been funded under the Queensland State Government’s School Transport Infrastructure Program and the South Burnett Regional Council capital works program.
To ensure a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to all road signage.
