Checking for Safe Tank Water Delivery to your Home
It’s that time of the year when the warmer weather hits and water deliveries increase to properties that rely on tank water.
Did you know?
Water Carriers that provide Drinking Water to the public are required to hold a Food Business Licence with the Council and ensure they are complying with the public health requirements for Safe Drinking water.
Council would like to encourage all residents when ordering water deliveries to undertake the following checks:
1. Request to sight a copy of the Water Carriers Current Food Business Licence
2. Check where the water is coming from – is it town or a private source
3. Ensure you receive a receipt and paperwork about the water delivery
5. If you are unsure please contact Council 4189 9100 to lodge your enquiry
