Notification of Bitumen Resealing Works

South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise that bitumen resealing for the 2023/24 Bitumen Resealing Program will be commencing on Monday 27 November 2023.

We expect these works to commence for approximately 2 weeks until Friday 8 December 2023, weather and resource availability permitting:

  • Adermann Dr – Kingaroy, from 0.43km to 0.45km
  • Apex Pk access – Kingaroy, from 0.0km to 0.041km
  • Bushnells Rd – Nanango, from 0.0km to 0.7 Km
  • Brittany Ct – Booie, from 0.0km to 0.019km
  • Campbells Rd – Silverleaf, from 0.0km to 4.48Km
  • Corndale Rd – Memerambi, from 4.0km to 7.5km
  • Darcie St – Booie, from 0.0km to 0.67km
  • Friebergs Rd – Byee, from 0.0km to 1.97km
  • Gatto St – Booie, from 0.1km to 0.35km
  • George St – Kingaroy, from 0.0km to 0.28km
  • Krebs St – Murgon, from 0.65km to 0.67km
  • Kumbia Rd – Brooklands, from 17.28km to 17.92km
  • Macaulay Drive – Booie, from 0.0km to 1.425km
  • MacDiarmid St – Kingaroy, from 0.0km to 0.342km
  • McConnel Way – Marshlands, from 3.32km to 4.07km
  • Memerambi Barkers Ck Rd – Wattlecamp, from 6.26km to 7.675km
  • Mondure Wheatlands Rd – Wheatlands, Section 1 from 1.9km to 3.86km

These works are funded through the SBRC 2023/24 Capital Works budget, and Queensland Government Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS).

In order to provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required.  Motorists are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
