Australia Day Awards celebrated on 21 January 2024
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to announce that the Australia Day Awards for 2024 will be held on Sunday 21 January 2024 from 12noon to 3.00pm at the Kumbia Hall.
The ceremony will welcome Rod Morgan as master of ceremonies and an afternoon tea will be provided following the ceremony.
Acting Mayor Gavin Jones congratulates all nominees and acknowledges their commitment to the community.
“All those nominated for an Australia Day Award have showcased their community spirit and demonstrated the true resilience that is the heart of our rural community. These awards provide an opportunity for the community to acknowledge and reward outstanding groups and individuals committed to improving our region” said Cr Jones.
