Dog Registration Renewals
South Burnett Regional Council advises that dog registration renewals have now been issued for 2023/2024.
Residents are advised the current registration renewal period is from 1 December 2023 to 30 June 2024, with payment due on Friday 9 February 2024. Council has elected to align the dog registration renewal period with the financial year, therefore these renewals have been generated with pro-rata fees.
If your dog has an outstanding fee from the 2022/2023 renewal period, you will notice that this has been included in the total amount due and is required to be paid along with the new fee.
Please contact Council to make payment or update any details, including change of ownership, moved out of the area or if your dog has sadly passed away.
Please note under the Animal Management (Cats and Dogs) Act 2008 Section 54 it is the animal owner’s responsibility to notify Council within 7 days of any changed information. Penalties apply for failing to update details.
