Kingaroy Water Discolouration

South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise residents that Council is seeing an increase in manganese in the raw water supplies for Kingaroy.
This has resulted in changes to water aesthetics such as colour and taste.
The South Burnett Regional Council water team is responding to all customer requests raised and as an interim treatment is performing localised network flushing at fire hydrants where possible, however this is not always successful.

We would encourage residents experiencing water discolouration to read the fact sheet and contact Council both during and after hours if needed.
