Temporary Road Closure - Maidenwell Bunya Mountains Road Upgrade

South Burnett Regional Council advises that due to wet weather, the Maidenwell Bunya Mountains Road is temporarily closed,
between chainage 12.1km to 13.7km from Maidenwell from 3:00pm on Monday 25 March 2024. Weather permitting, the road will re-open as soon as practical and safe to do so.
In order to provide a safe environment, motorists are requested to make alternative travel arrangements and travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions, and to adhere to signage. Alternative routes may include Bunya Mountains Road, Wengenville Glencliffe Road (Gravel only), Brooklands Pimpimbudgee Road.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst works are in progress.
