Regional Development Action Plan
The 2021-2026 Regional Development Strategy is a Council document that outlines the strategy for realising economic growth in the South Burnett region
Council’s aim for this Strategy is to be progressed and supported by the Regional Development Action Plan, identifying projects and opportunities for sustainable growth over time.
The Action Plan was formed through collaborative workshops involving South Burnett Councillors, industry stakeholders, the Queensland Government's Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning, and representatives from the Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation. This document harmonises with pertinent strategies from Wide Bay Burnett Local Government Areas, as well as both State and Federal Government initiatives.
This Action Plan will be impactful and focus on working closely with South Burnett communities, industry and all levels of government.
