Notice of Works - Tingoora Chelmsford Road Rehabilitation – Phase 1
Council wishes to advise that road works on Tingoora Chelmsford Road, Chelmsford will commence on Tuesday 28 May 2024 for a period of seven (7) weeks, weather and machinery permitting.
Construction works will include strengthening and widening the existing pavement and bitumen seal between chainage 12000 (Springs Road intersection) to Chainage 13740 (Wondai Proston Road intersection).
This project has been proudly funded under the Australian Governments’ Roads to Recovery Program (R2R) in association with the South Burnett Regional Council’s Capital Works Program for 2023-2024.
To provide a safe work environment for Council staff, contractors and users, traffic control will be in place during the time of works to control flow of traffic and ensure pedestrian safety. Some minor delays may be encountered. Local access to properties and business within the work area will continue. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
