Footpath Renewal - Drayton Street Nanango
South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise that footpath renewal works are planned to commence during the week of Monday 10 June 2024, weather and machinery permitting.
The project will replace a 60 metre long section of existing deteriorated concrete footpath in Drayton Street between Railway Lane and the bridge across Sandy Creek.
To provide a safe work environment, the section of footpath being reconstructed will be closed to pedestrians during the construction. The footpath on the opposite side of the street will be available for pedestrians.
Construction activity will create noise from machinery and equipment, some restrictions to vehicle parking and pedestrian access for public safety, however these impacts will be limited and allow continual business access as construction progresses along Scott Street.
Site works and construction activity will be performed Monday to Friday 6:30am – 5:00pm with occasional weekend work. The project is expected to be completed by Sunday 30 June 2024, weather and machinery permitting
This project has been funded under the South Burnett Regional Council Capital Works Program for 2023-2024.
