SES Support Grant Application Approved
Council is pleased to advise that the grant application under round 2024-2025 of the State Emergency Service (SES) Support Grant program,
to purchase a new vehicle to be used by the local SES Groups for carrying out SES activities has been successful.
The State Emergency Service (SES) Support Grant is a Queensland Government Grant Program.
The aim of the SES Support Grant program is to provide financial assistance to local governments, enabling SES to respond to disasters and emergencies throughout Queensland.
The SES Support Grant is a highly sought after funding program and Council is thrilled that the grant application for this project has been successful.
Council will receive $42,644.86 (75% of total project cost) as the SES Support grant for the purchase of the SES vehicle. The SES vehicle will be purchased in the first half of the next financial year.
Council is extremely grateful to have received funding from the State of Queensland through the State Emergency Service under the 2024-2025 SES Support Grant program for the purchase of the SES vehicle and would like to thank the State for their ongoing support in providing these invaluable funding opportunities.
