Notice of Works - Temporary Road Closure of Flagstone Creek Road, Haly Creek
South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise we are currently planning to extend the floodway on Flagstone Creek Road at chainage 2550m from Stuart Valley Drive.
Once complete the floodway will be extended to a full length of 23 metres which will provide resilience and safety during flood events.
To safely complete these works, it is necessary to close vehicular access on Flagstone Creek Road between Ellesmere Road and Haly Creek Road. Below is a map of the location of the road closure that will be in place.
Works are anticipated from 22 July 2024 to mid-August 2024 (subject to wet weather)
The project is funded between South Burnett Regional Council and the Disaster Recovery Arrangement which is a jointly funded program between the Australian Government and the State Government.
Detour signage will be in place prior to commencement of works.
