- This notice may be cited as South Burnett Regional Council (Making of Local Law) Website Notice (No. 1) 2024.
Making of local law
- South Burnett Regional Council (the “Council”) has, by resolution dated the 15th day of May 2024, made:
- Local Law (Repealing) Local Law (No. 1) 2024; and
- Subordinate Local Law (Repealing) Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2024.
Local law repealed
- Local Law (Repealing) Local Law (No. 1) 2024 repeals Local Law No. 2 (Meetings) 2008.
- Subordinate Local Law (Repealing) Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2024 repeals Subordinate Local Law No. 1.7 (Operation of Cane Railways) 2011.
Authorising local law
- Local Law No. 1 (Administration) 2011 authorises the making of Subordinate Local Law (Repealing) Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2024.
Purpose and general effect of local law
- The purpose and general effect of Local Law (Repealing) Local Law (No. 1) 2024 is to repeal Local Law No. 2 (Meetings) 2008.

The purpose and general effect of Subordinate Local Law (Repealing) Subordinate Local Law (No. 1) 2024 is to repeal Subordinate Local Law No. 1.7 (Operation of Cane Railways) 2011.
Inspection
- A copy of each of the local law and subordinate local law referred to in paragraph 2 may be—
- inspected and purchased at Council’s public office; and
- viewed by the public on the website of the Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works.
