Notice of Works - Bunya Avenue, Bunya Mountains – Drainage Works
South Burnett Regional Council is undertaking drainage and shoulder repair works on Bunya Avenue, Bunya Mountains, located at chainage 40 – 750m.
The upcoming works are intended to improve the roadside drainage and repair the existing shoulders.
Works are expected to commence on Monday 29 July 2024, weather and machinery permitting. All drainage works will be performed during the day, between the hours of 7.30am – 2.30pm. Depending on work conditions, the works may continue past the anticipated finish time.
There may be some impact to the car parks in front of the camping and shop location during this time.
To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by traffic control and signage. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
