Dog Registration Renewals
South Burnett Regional Council advises dog registration renewals have now been issued.
Residents are advised the current registration renewal period is from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025, with payment due on 27 October 2024.
If your dog has an outstanding fee from the 2023/2024 renewal period, you will notice that this has been included in the total amount due and is required to be paid along with the new fee.
Please contact Council to make payment or update any details, including change of ownership, if you have moved out of the area or if your dog has sadly passed away.
Please note under the Animal Management (Cats and Dogs) Act 2008 Section 54 it is the animal owner’s responsibility to notify Council within 7 days of any changed information. Penalties apply for failing to update details.
