St. Patricks Primary School Footpath Extension - Gipps Street Nanango
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise that works on the Gipps Street footpath extension are due to commence the week of Monday 11 November 2024, weather and machinery permitting.
Works being undertaken includes construction of new concrete footpath sections to complete missing links in the existing footpath in Gipps Street, immediately North of the Alfred Street intersection. Also included will be the reconfiguration of the existing pedestrian crossing at this corner.
These works are proudly jointly funded by the Queensland Government through the School Transport Infrastructure Program, and South Burnett Regional Council capital works program.
To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage and delineation. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
