Notification of Bitumen Resealing Works

South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise that bitumen resealing for the 2024/25 Bitumen Resealing Program will be commencing on Monday 25 November 2024.

We expect these works to continue for approximately 3 weeks until Friday 13 December 2024, weather and resource availability permitting:

  • Crumpton Drive, Blackbutt North - Chainage 2220m – 3000m
  • David Road, Taromeo – Chainage 0m – 550m
  • Douglas Street, Blackbutt – Chainage 0m – 100m
  • Farrington Road,Blackbutt – Chainage 0m – 390m
  • Gladys Street, Blackbutt – Chainage 0m – 120m
  • Grosvenor Lane, Blackbutt – Chainage 10m – 220m
  • Muir Street, Blackbutt – Chainage 0m – 120m
  • Nukku Road, Blackbutt – Chainage 1235m – 2015m
  • Oliver Road, Nanango – Chainage 3m – 780m
  • Drayton St, Nanango – Chainage 1010m – 1080m
  • Steele Court, Kingaroy – Chainage 0m – 86m
  • Moore Street, Kingaroy – Chainage 1050m - 1420m
  • Short Street, Kingaroy – Chainage 8m – 180m
  • Court Lane, Kingaroy – Chainage 0m – 72m

These works are funded through Council’s 2024/25 Capital Works budget.

In order to provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required.  Motorists are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
