Notice of Works – Elk Street, Nanango- State High School Frontage
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise that works on the Nanango State High School frontage, are due to commence during the week of Monday 6 January 2025, weather permitting.
Works being undertaken includes construction of new concrete footpath sections along the Elk Street frontage of the school, drainage improvements and widening of the verge on the Southern side of Elk Street, opposite the school.
These works are proudly funded jointly by the Queensland Government through the School Transport Infrastructure Program, and South Burnett Regional Council capital works program.
To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage and delineation. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst works are in progress.
