SBRCQ 24/25-100 - Purchase and Removal of Scrap Steel
Council is seeking offers from a suitably qualified contractor for the collection, purchase and removal of bulk scrap metal from South Burnett Regional Council’s nominated Waste Facility Sites.
The scrap metal includes household white goods, car parts, machinery parts, sheet metal, piping, structural steel sections, reinforcing, fencing materials, mattress springs and builders’ scrap.
Whilst this service does not include the collection of E-Waste, contractors are encouraged to break out a sub addendum if they would like to offer the collection and recycling of E-Waste within their proposal. Council shall seek collection of these materials separately on an “as required” basis.
Inspections are available by contacting Council and tenderers need to provide a value offered per tonne.
