Temporary Road Closure – Weeks Road Goodger
South Burnett Regional Council wishes to advise that works are currently planned to upgrade a culvert on Weeks Road near Kingaroy Cooyar Road.
The outcome of the project is to provide resilience and safety during and post flood events.
In order to safely complete these works, it is necessary to close vehicular access on Weeks Road near Kingaroy Cooyar Road. Below is a map showing the location of the road closure that will be in place.
Works are anticipated from Monday 10 March 2025 to Monday 31 March 2025, machinery and weather permitting.
The project is funded between South Burnett Regional Council and the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements which is a jointly funded program between the Australian and Queensland Governments.
Detour signage will be in place prior to commencement of works.
