Notification of Bitumen Preparation and Reseal Works

South Burnett Regional Council advises that bitumen preparation and resealing for the 2024/25 Bitumen Resealing Program has commenced.

Council expects these works below, to continue for approximately 10 weeks until Friday 2 May 2025, weather and resource availability permitting:

  • Bicks Road, Cloyna – Chainage 30m – 2000m
  • Denmark Road, Wooroolin – Chainage 1600m - 4100m
  • Gipps Street, Nanango – Chainage 470m – 680m
  • Haly Creek Road, Haly Creek – Chainage 30m – 3610m
  • Hillsdale Road, Booie – Chainage 0m – 5800m
  • Industrial Avenue, Kingaroy – Chainage 70m - 515m
  • Liesegangs Road, Crawford – Chainage 0m – 3210m
  • Malar Road, Booie – Chainage 1050m - 5330m
  • Manumbar Road, Sandy Ridges – Chainage 22090m - 25350m
  • McConnel Way, Mondure – Chainage 0m - 3250m
  • North Branch Road, Booie – Chainage 0m - 3070m
  • Radunzs Road, Booie – Chainage 1100m - 2250m
  • Recreation Drive, Memerambi – Chainage 30m to 450m and 3940m - 4240m
  • River Road, Kingaroy – Chainage 8780m - 11000m
  • Weens Road, Crawford – Chainage 0m - 3660m
  • Wingfields Road, Crawford - Chainage 20m - 1775 m
  • Belle Street, Kingaroy – Chainage 320m - 470m

These works are proudly funded by the Queensland Government’s Works for Queensland Program (W4Q) 2024/27 and through Council’s 2024/25 Capital Works budget.

In order to provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required. Motorists are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions, and to adhere to signage.
