Footpath Upgrade – Lamb Street Murgon

Back

South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise that footpath and kerb and channel upgrades are planned to commence during the week of Monday 31 March 2025 in Lamb Street,

between Douglas Street South and the Murgon Creek footbridge.

The project will replace the footpath and kerb and channel in this section of Lamb Street.

In order to provide a safe work environment, temporary signage and traffic control staff will be in place to assist pedestrians around the work area.

Access to the Auto parts business will be provided during the construction period.

Construction activity will create noise from machinery and equipment, some restrictions to vehicle parking and pedestrian access for public safety, however these impacts will be limited.

Site works and construction activity will be performed Monday to Friday – 6:30am – 5:00pm with occasional weekend work. The project is expected to be completed by April 2025.

This project is proudly funded by the Queensland Government’s 2024-27 Works for Queensland program.

For further information regarding the project works, please contact Council’s Infrastructure team on 4189 9100 or email info@sbrc.qld.gov.au.
