Notice of Road Works - Cairns Street, Nanango - Installation of a Cycleway/Footpath

Council has programmed the installation of a new concrete Cycleway/Footpath in Cairns Street, Nanango from Drayton Street to the Nanango High School in the week commencing Monday 4 December 2017.

Works will include the trimming of trees, excavation, placing of concrete, line marking and signage on the eastern side of Cairns Street for approximately 340m.  Completion of these works is expected to be late January 2018, weather permitting.

In order to provide a safe work environment the footpath and parking area in the immediate work area will be closed but normal traffic flows should not be affected.

During construction there may be some restrictions to property access for short periods however residents will be notified in advanced by the Supervisor.
