Kingaroy Town Hall Reception Room reroofing and upgrade of air conditioning unit has commenced. The reception room roof required replacing due to the ongoing leaks, rusted roofing iron and roof penetrations were no longer required for air conditioning units. The works are to be completed by the end of the month and hirers we have access to an improved facility. The air conditioner will meet new climate controls and more suitable for the hirer.

Kingaroy Town Common Hall repairs and repainting has commenced this month. This hall is located on black cracking soils, causing the building to slightly move during wet and dry times of the year. The internal walls have experienced cracking and required repairs to the plaster, repainting internal and external of the building.

Maidenwell and Proston Halls have also received repairs and small patch up painting.

Council has called for expression of interests to manage and operate Ringsfield House, Nanango and Management of Blackbutt Hall. Tenders have also been called for the management of units and houses in the Nanango. All expression of interest and tender documentation can be found on the Council website.
