Rhyme Time

Rhyme Time is part of the First 5 Forever (Best Start) initiative aimed at 0-3 year olds.  Sessions include rhymes and finger plays to encourage interaction with your child.  Rhyme Time introduces children to the joys of literature and language and helps them to develop the skills they need to learn to read and communicate through learning sounds, letter recognition, and new words.

Songs and rhymes provide many lifelong benefits to help your child with their language and can assist them in developing an appreciation for rhythm and rhyme.

During these sessions you will be encouraged to have fun with your child using songs fingerplays and rhymes from your childhood.
