South Burnett residents urged to ‘Be Prepared’

With rainfall in the region over the last 24/48 hours being minimal, the Local Disaster Management Group (LDMG) has now moved to Stand Down. Council will continue to liaise with local emergency services to monitor weather conditions.
South Burnett residents are advised that with the storm season upon us, now is the time to be prepared.
You can help prepare for emergencies by:
- Preparing your Emergency Plan
- Preparing your Emergency Kit
- Preparing your home / business / farm
- Tuning into Warnings
- Re-stocking your pantry
- Ensuring your prescriptions are filled
- Ensuring you have adequate supplies of fuel, gas and medication
