South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise that the replacement of Murgon’s CBD footpath, along Lamb Street (between Krebs and Gore Streets), funded through the Queensland Government’s 2019-21 Works for Queensland program (W4Q R3) and South Burnett Regional Council, continues with the demolition of the existing footpath progressing. Detailed planning has preceded works in order to ensure all business can remain operational during the construction.

Council will soon commence the restoration of the historic peanut thresher currently located at Kingaroy's fascinating Heritage Museum and housed in what was the town's power house from 1925 to 1952 - and is now part of the Kingaroy Information, Art and Heritage Precinct.

As part of South Burnett Regional Council’s 2020 works program, the replacement of Murgon’s CBD footpath along Lamb Street between Krebs Street and Gore Street is in the initial stages of demolition.
